Established in 1971 by the Carter family, supplying mechanical plant and equipment to the construction industry, and supplying agricultural equipment to the farming industry and varied equipment to local industry and the docks.
When Mr Carter died in 1987 the company was purchased by the Sargeant family becoming part of the Sarbir Group.
In 2000 Watlington was acquired along with Sarbir by Newmarket Plant Hire Limited. Substantial investment has taken place which has seen Watlington Plant Hire transformed into one of Norfolks leading Plant Hire Suppliers. |
