| Conditions of Hire
Conditions of hire:
1. Charges for consumables are at extra cost.
2. The Hirer is responsible for all fuels, oils and greases and/or routine daily maintenance whilst on hire.
3. All punctures and tyre damage are the hirers responsibility.
4. Repairs or damage other than fair wear and tear will be invoiced at extra cost as will cleaning of plant returned in a dirty condition.
5. General Plant: All rates are based on an 8 hour day, 40 hour week and 24 hours notice of termination is required.
6. Unless otherwise agreed the Hirer is responsible for insurance.
7. Acceptance of plant on site implies acceptance of all CPA terms and conditions stated and separate sheet of statement of trading terms unless otherwise agreed.
8. Minimum hire period is one week unless otherwise stated.
Cash hire notice - Deposit:
With immediate effect Company policy states that Plant can only be hired out by non account customers when covered by a deposit from a valid Credit/Debit card in the name of the hirer. Cash and cheques will no longer be accepted.
Identification will also be required together with a landline telephone number and mobile number.
A deposit of £400.00 will be debited from the card before the hire can commence together with the first weeks hire and consumables charges. Hire charges will then be debited on a weekly basis in advance until the hire terminates. Deposits and overpayment will be credited on termination of hire.
Please note: The hirer is responsible for theft and damage to the machine and should have adequate insurance to cover this.
